What happens next?

After initially being promised our tags between August and October, and then as late of January 1, 2010, we just received word from the Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Revenue, Tim Russell, that our tags will be available on or around November 1.
CCA will mail State vouchers to you in time for picking up your tag(s) at your regular license offices. 
When you receive your voucher, you have two options:

1) take it along with your old tag to the license office to swap for your new tag; or
2) If your renewal date is coming up soon, hang on to the voucher and redeem it for your new tag on your regular renewal date.
