Coast Watch Program

Prevent theft of Alabama's Marine Resources.

We Pay Cash for Information on Violations of our Saltwater Fishing Regulations and our Marine Resource Protection Laws.

Call 251-476-1256, the Alabama Department of Conversation Hotline to report violators.  Then call 251-478-FISH (3474) to let us know you reported a violator.

Coast Watch is a program designed to stop violators in Alabama. Citizen involvement is and always has been the key to its success. The problem is serious.

The person who violates our saltwater fishing or our marine resource protection laws regulations is not a sportsman. He may use illegal fishing gear, high-speed boats, and fish under the cover of darkness to capture his prey. His idea of fair is no chance at all. The season, hour, bag limit, and method mean nothing. Fish and marine wildlife, including threatened and endangered species, are killed for profit and "just for fun." But everyone suffers from this kind of "fun". Simply put, violating our saltwater fishing regulations and marine resource protection laws is Stealing... It is stealing from you and future generations.

You can report any illegal activity and collect a reward of up to $10,000 while remaining completely anonymous.
